Elda theme combines smooth dark colors with highly distinguishable characters which make reading of code both comfortable for eyes and help to see programming language phonemes. Moreover this theme allows you easy reading in dark environment. You don't need to strain your eyes, thus it helps to save your eyesight.

Furthermore Elda has a strong meaning in Russian language. Now you can just say to anybody of your Russian friends that your (g-)vim has Elda.
